What makes this restaurant chandelier Hyderabad project special?
Most restaurants hang one big chandelier in the middle and call it a day.
This one turned the whole ceiling into the showpiece. There are three layers to the design.
1. The egg-shell sky
The base of the look is hundreds of smooth oval discs, shaped like little egg shells. The top side is glossy white. The underside is mirror gold, so every disc catches and bounces the light.
Each disc hangs on its own thin cable. Step back, and they read as soft swirling clouds and rings flowing across the dining hall — not one fixture, but a sky.
2. The golden vortex
Here’s the showstopper. Over one round ceiling cove finished in a rose-gold tone, the discs spiral downwards like a whirlpool — white on the outside, gold glowing in the core.
Guests sitting under it feel like they are inside the light, not just under it.
3. The crystal cones
Through the centre of several disc rings, tiered crystal chandeliers taper down like glowing cones. The crystal sparkle plays against the soft matte discs. One texture makes the other look richer.
Around all this: white marble floors, gold-framed chairs and a live-music corner. The ceiling ties the whole room together with a warm, golden glow.

How we built it in 5 steps
- Measure and map the ceiling. Every cove, beam, AC vent and speaker was mapped first, so the disc formations flow around them — not into them.
- Design the swirls. We planned each ring and the central vortex on the ceiling drawing, balancing white and gold so no zone feels heavy.

- String and balance. Each disc hangs at its own height. Get a few wrong and the swirl looks broken, so levels were set piece by piece.
- Install and light it up. Our own technicians did the full installation and wiring on site — that’s them on the ladders in the photo above.
