Overview
Layer upon layer of glass leaves, each one clear green at the edge and milky white at the heart, hooked onto a gold ring frame. This green chandelier is 80 cm (31.4 in) across and 50 cm (19.6 in) tall, with 12 lights inside.
Switch it on and the white centres glow soft and bright while the green edges turn the colour of new leaves in sunlight. Unlit, it looks fresh and cool, like a cluster of leaves after rain.
Two-tone glass leaves, shaped by hand
Every leaf is borosilicate glass. Our craftsman lays white glass inside green while both are hot, then presses and curves the leaf so the colours flow into each other. Because the colour is inside the glass, it never fades or peels.
Each leaf hangs from its own hook on the gold rings, overlapping the one below. The rings grow smaller as they go down, so the green chandelier tapers into a soft point.
The frame, hooks, chain and canopy are 304-grade stainless steel in a gold finish, with a lifetime rust warranty.
Where this green chandelier works
- Living rooms. Centred under a ceiling rose or over a coffee table, as in the photo below.
- Dining rooms. A green hanging light over a table for four to six.
- Bedrooms. A fresh, soft light where the ceiling is 9 ft or higher.
- Cafés, restaurants and boutique hotels. Green glass and gold bring a garden feel indoors.
It looks at home with white and cream walls, curved sofas, marble, rattan, wood and plenty of plants.
The body is 80 cm across and 50 cm tall, and it hangs on a gold chain set to your ceiling at installation. It suits rooms of about 12 × 12 ft and larger, with a ceiling of 9 ft or more. Over a dining table, hang the bottom 75–90 cm above the tabletop.
Light and fitting
This green chandelier has 12 E14 holders. Bulbs are not included; fit 3000K warm white LEDs of about 4–6 W each, roughly 48–72 W in all. The light is not dimmable. It runs on 220–240V and is made for indoor rooms (IP20).
Wipe the glass leaves with a soft, dry cloth. Spare parts, including single glass leaves, stay available for 10+ years, so one broken leaf never means a new light.
