Know your light
This sputnik chandelier radiates thirteen curved arms from a central alabaster hub, each ending in a reeded wood dome that cradles a glowing alabaster ball. It is a true statement piece — 70 cm across — built to anchor a dining table, a living room or a double-height space. Lit, the alabaster balls glow from within like small warm moons; unlit, the reeded wood domes and sculptural brass frame read as a piece of art. Available in brushed gold or antique bronze.
Where it fits
- Over a dining table — centre it above a round or square table (roughly 90–120 cm wide) so the ring of alabaster orbs lights every seat evenly.
- Living-room centrepiece — a sculptural focal point over a coffee table or seating group in a room with generous ceiling height.
- Entry or stairwell — hung in a double-height foyer, the orbital form is dramatic from every angle.
- Hospitality & suites — lounges, private dining and lobbies that want a warm, bespoke centrepiece.
Why you’ll use it every day
Thirteen G9 lights spread warm, even illumination across a whole zone instead of a single pool — enough to light a dining table beautifully. The natural alabaster balls diffuse each bulb into a soft, warm glow with the stone’s own veining visible, so no two are identical. The reeded wood domes add warmth and texture that plain metal can’t, and the curved arms give the piece movement from every angle. Standard G9 bulbs let you choose the brightness and warmth and swap them whenever you like, and the drop is adjustable to suit your ceiling.
Light & finish
Each alabaster ball glows warmly within its reeded dome, and the central alabaster hub echoes the effect at the core. Choose brushed gold for a bright, classic warmth that suits panelled and period rooms, or antique bronze for a deeper, moodier look against textured walls. The natural stone means every piece is subtly unique. It pairs with warm plaster, timber, marble, grasscloth and panelling, and suits mid-century, art-deco and transitional interiors.
Vaastu & positive energy
In Vaastu, warm metallic tones such as gold and bronze are associated with warmth and prosperity, alabaster and natural stone with grounding and calm, and rounded, radiating forms with energy that circulates smoothly. A warm, well-lit centre over a dining table — where family gathers — is traditionally seen as auspicious. These are design associations, not guaranteed outcomes.

What buyers say
Common questions
How big is this sputnik chandelier?
It is 70 cm (27.6 in) in diameter with 13 lights, on an adjustable rod suspension so the drop can be set to suit your ceiling.
What finishes does it come in?
Two: brushed gold (bright and classic) and antique bronze (deeper and moodier). Both are the same size and price — choose the finish on the product page.
What are the shades and balls made of?
The domes are reeded wood, and the glowing balls — plus the central hub — are natural alabaster, so each piece has the stone’s own unique veining. The frame is metal.
How many bulbs does it use, and are they included?
It uses 13 G9 bulbs, which are not included. We recommend warm white G9 LEDs (2700–3000K) for the softest glow through the alabaster.
What size table or room suits it?
It works best over a round or square dining table about 90–120 cm wide, in a room roughly 3.5 × 3.5 m or larger with a 2.7 m+ ceiling. Hang the base about 75–85 cm above a tabletop.
Is it heavy, and can I install it myself?
Yes — it is a substantial fixture and must be fixed to a structural ceiling point. Professional installation by an electrician is required.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer. Bulbs are not included, so choose dimmable ones if you want that option.
