Overview
A walnut chandelier that makes your dining room feel dressed, not just lit. The Shadalia sets eight white pleated raw silk shades on chrome-finish 304-grade stainless steel arms around a solid walnut wood column, 87 cm across. Walnut grows for decades before it reaches our bench. In our Greater Noida factory we shape and finish the column by hand and let the grain show. Switch it on and the silk glows evenly while the walnut warms in the light. 8 × E27, bulbs not included; fit 3000K warm-white LEDs. The drop rod adjusts, so it suits a range of ceiling heights.
Where it fits
This chandelier is made for rooms of 12 ft × 14 ft and above. At 87 cm wide, it sits comfortably over a 6–8 seater dining table without crowding the edges. It also works as the centrepiece of a large drawing room, hotel lobby or banquet hall where you want warmth and softness rather than crystal sparkle. For other moods, see the Capiz Shell Chandelier – 80 cm White Cascade of Iridescent Shells or the Modern Brass Chandelier – 8-Light Opal Glass Globes, 70 cm.
A wood and chrome chandelier you’ll use every day
It turns a bare ceiling into the anchor of the room. No floor space, no wall fixings, no fuss. In the evening, warm light through eight silk shades fills the space evenly. No harsh spots, no dark corners. The walnut keeps the chrome from feeling cold, and the chrome keeps the walnut from feeling heavy. Weighing up silk against cotton or linen? Our fabric chandelier guide explains the difference. Spare raw silk shades are available for 10+ years.
Light & finish
Eight raw silk shades diffuse the bulbs completely; you see the shade, not the filament. The result is a soft, shadowless glow that flatters everyone at the table. Chrome-finish stainless steel arms keep the design clean and never rust, while the walnut column adds a warm tone. It suits modern minimalist rooms and New Traditional interiors equally well. Indoor, IP20.
Prefer an all-chrome frame? See the Cloth Chandelier – 8-Light Chrome with White Pleated Shades, 80 cm, with eight pleated white cotton shades.
Pairs well with: the fabric shade chandelier in gold and walnut, the same walnut and cloth pairing with six ivory bell shades, for the next room along.

Vaastu thinking pairs wood with growth and light with the fire element, and asks for balance between them. Many Vaastu guides suggest warm, even light at the centre of the dining area. A real walnut column under eight softly glowing shades sits naturally inside that idea. We don’t promise abundance or luck. We say a warm, grounded room makes meals feel worth sitting down for.
Care
·Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
·Spot-clean with a pH-neutral cleaner on a cloth — never spray directly.
·Wipe the stainless steel gently dry after cleaning.
·Avoid abrasives and harsh chemicals.
·Indoor use only unless an IP rating is specified.
·Switch off the circuit before any electrical maintenance.
·Check mounting hardware periodically and tighten if needed.
FAQ
Where does a walnut chandelier look best in an Indian home?
Over a dining table, 75–90 cm above the surface. At 87 cm wide, this one suits a 6–8 seater table without overhanging the edges. It also works centred in a large drawing room or hotel lobby where you want warmth without crystal sparkle.
What ceiling height does this chandelier need?
Nine feet is the comfortable minimum. The adjustable drop rod lets you shorten or extend the hang; for a 10–12 ft ceiling, extend the drop for more presence.
How many bulbs does it take, and what type?
Eight E27 holders, one per raw silk shade. Use 6–8W warm-white LEDs at 3000K. Bulbs are not included.
Can I adjust the drop for a lower ceiling?
Yes. For a 9 ft ceiling, use the shorter rod setting to keep the bottom of the shades at least 7 ft from the floor over a table or walkway.
Can I get this chandelier in a different size or finish?
Yes. We make it in our own Greater Noida factory: custom sizes, shade colours and frame finishes take 15–20 working days, against 60–120 days for importers.
Does it come with installation support?
Yes. Free video-call support from our team, and any licensed electrician can install it with standard ceiling rose wiring.

The size feels right in the living room ceiling, and it does not overpower the space. ✨
