Know your light
This alabaster pendant light uses a 400 mm natural alabaster cylinder with a slim 50 mm diameter and matte black metal fittings. Its translucent stone body gives a warm, softly diffused glow, making it a strong choice for dining areas, kitchen islands, living spaces and hospitality interiors.
Where it fits
- Dining areas: Hang one alabaster pendant light above a compact dining table or use several at different heights over a longer table.
- Kitchen islands: The 50 mm diameter keeps the profile visually slim above an island or breakfast counter.
- Living spaces: Use an alabaster pendant light where a narrow vertical form can add a soft illuminated detail without taking up much visual space.
- Hospitality interiors: The 400 mm natural alabaster body suits reception counters, restaurant tables, boutique hotels and other commercial interiors.
The maximum suspension shown in the dimension drawing is 3000 mm, giving you useful flexibility when setting the pendant height for your ceiling and furniture layout.
Why you’ll use it every day
The narrow cylindrical profile makes this alabaster pendant light easy to place without overwhelming the room. Its 50 mm diameter works especially well when you want a group of pendants with clear spacing between each light.
Natural alabaster also gives you a finish that changes with the light. The visible veining remains part of the design rather than looking like a printed or repeated pattern.
Each piece of natural alabaster has its own variation. Your pendant therefore has individual mineral patterning and translucency rather than a completely uniform surface.
Jagmag Lights is a 100% Make-in-India lighting brand, giving you a product backed by an established Indian manufacturing operation.
Hand-cut from natural alabaster — which means no two are alike. The veins run differently. The colour shifts. The edges darken where the stone is denser. Light it up and you get a glow that belongs to your piece and nothing else. One block of stone. One light. Never repeated.
Light & finish
When switched on, the natural alabaster body allows light to pass through the translucent material. Its natural variation becomes more visible as the cylinder glows, creating a warm layered appearance.
The alabaster pendant light has a softer visual presence than an opaque metal shade because the light is filtered through the natural material. The effect is particularly noticeable in the darker interior images, where the cylinder becomes the main illuminated element.
Matte black metal fittings frame the top and bottom of the cylinder. This darker finish gives the pale natural alabaster a clean contrast and keeps the overall form contemporary.
When the light is off, the natural veining remains visible. When illuminated, areas of the alabaster become more translucent, so the pattern reads differently under light.
Vaastu & positive energy
This alabaster pendant light uses a natural material with a warm illuminated appearance, making it suitable for spaces where you want a softer visual atmosphere.
For Vaastu-conscious interiors, warm illumination is commonly preferred where a calm and welcoming mood is desired. Natural materials can also bring a grounded visual quality to dining and living areas.
Place the pendant according to the room’s overall lighting plan and keep the hanging height comfortable for the furniture below it. The 3000 mm maximum suspension allows the drop to be planned around your ceiling and room proportions.
