The Crystal Vine — A Sculptural Cascade of Light

The crystal vine chandelier from Jagmag Lights centres on a hand-formed satin gold metal helix that spirals over a 2,400 mm drop, dressed in clear marquise cut-glass leaves, ribbed crystal globe pendants, and pearl-white opal beads with gold metallic berry terminals at the branch tips. The ⌀1,200 mm round canopy anchors the whole piece flush to the ceiling. Every element is assembled in India by Jagmag Lights and built for double-height spaces — grand foyers, staircase wells, and large living rooms where a standard short-drop fitting would look out of proportion.

Why you’ll use it every day

The ribbed globe pendants spread warm light wide and softly — enough to illuminate a foyer adequately on its own, without the harshness of a direct-light fitting that makes guests squint. The marquise cut-glass leaves pick up even ambient daylight and throw small glints back across the ceiling and floor, so the chandelier earns its presence whether or not the lights are switched on. Because it ships in sections with steel cable extensions already included, you dial in the exact drop height on installation day rather than guessing from a photograph. For a staircase, that precision means the bottom of the cascade sits at exactly the clearance height that works for the space.

Light & finish

When lit, the warm glow from the globe pendants washes up and outward through the vertical space, while the marquise leaves refract points of light onto surrounding walls and the staircase, creating a moving shimmer that shifts as people pass beneath. When unlit, the satin gold helix and clear leaves read as open-form sculpture — the spiral retains presence in daylight. The satin gold finish pairs naturally with marble flooring, cream and warm-white walls, dark hardwood, and stone-clad entry features. It also reads well against deep charcoal or navy accent walls where the gold tone stands out cleanly.
