Overview
This blue and white table lamp pairs a royal-blue glazed ceramic gourd base with a white cotton drum shade. It stands 70 cm tall with a 38 cm shade. The glaze looks deep navy by day and turns rich cobalt under a warm bulb at night. Set it down and the corner of the room feels finished.
Glazed ceramic, shaped from earth
Ceramic starts as clay from the earth. The gourd base is shaped, glazed and kiln-fired, then sealed so the blue holds its colour for years without fading or chalking. Because glaze moves in the kiln, no two bases look exactly alike. The foot and neck are gold-finish 304-grade stainless steel, so they never rust. Switch it on and the white shade throws a soft, even glow down onto the blue.

Where it fits
Use a pair on either side of a king bed for a hotel-suite look. Or set one on an entryway console, where the blue meets every guest at eye level. In a living room it sits well on a sideboard or an armchair side table. For a mixed-material pair, try it with the Travertine Table Lamp with Fabric Shade or the Wooden Bedside Lamp with Linen Shade.
Why you’ll use it every day
The inline rotary cord switch sits within reach from the bed or sofa. The drum shade cuts glare but still gives enough light to read. The glazed base is heavy and low in the curve, so the lamp stands steady. A soft dry cloth once a week keeps it looking new.
Calm colour, warm light
In Vastu thinking, blue is linked with calm and clarity, and clay is an earth element that grounds a room. A warm 3000K glow keeps the evening settled. We don’t promise luck. We promise a bedside that feels calm.

FAQ
Is this blue and white table lamp good for a bedside?
Yes. At 70 cm it sits at seated eye level on a standard 50–55 cm bedside table. The warm 3000K light is gentle enough for reading before sleep.
What bulb does this blue ceramic table lamp use?
A standard E27 bulb, not included. Fit an 8–10W warm-white LED rated 3000K, easy to find in any lighting shop in India. The lamp is not dimmable.
Where does a blue and white lamp look best?
Where the glaze can be seen from more than one side — a bedside, an entry console or a living-room sideboard. Avoid a tight corner; the colour is the point.
How do I clean a ceramic lamp?
Wipe the glazed base with a soft dry or barely damp cloth. Skip harsh cleaners. Vacuum the cotton shade on the lowest setting or use a lint roller.
Can I get it in a different colour?
Yes, on select ceramic bases. Custom colours and finishes take 15–20 working days. Message us with the colour you want.
Do I need an electrician to set it up?
No. It is a plug-in lamp. Fit the bulb, put on the shade, plug it in and turn the cord switch.

It fits well next to the sofa without looking too heavy. The shade is easy to match.
